Here’s what you need to know about your admission wristband.

Admission wristbands double as a way to pay for drinks, food or merchandise at the festival.  Riverbend 2019 is a cashless event, so you’ll pay with your RFID (radio frequency identification) wristband rather than using tokens, cash, or credit cards.  However, during the festival, you can visit stations set up to load cash onto your wristband. Those stations are called top up stations.  The only way to add cash or tokens (tokens can be redeemed this year only) to your wristband is by visiting a top up station on site during the festival.  Please note:  this is the final year to redeem tokens for purchases.

To make purchases at the festival, we’ll simply scan your wristband and the cost of the purchase will be discounted from your credit balance loaded onto your wristband.  Riverbend is using a cashless system to enhance your festival experience, with increased security and an improved festival buying experience.

To save time you can register your wristband here and connect it to your debit card or credit card.

About 30 acts perform each year on the multiple stages. Headline performers are featured on the Coca-Cola Stage, a barge which has been converted into a full concert stage. The barge floats just off shore against a large collection of amphitheater seats built into a hillside at the water’s edge. Major companies, such as Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Budweiser and Tennessee Valley Credit Union sponsor the other stages throughout the festival.

Riverbend admission is available for a discounted price in local Chattanooga outlets beginning in April until midnight before the festival opens. Once the festival opens, admission can only be purchased at the festival for the gate price. Nightly admission wristbands are available at the gate as well as regular general admission which gains festival access for all 4 days. Street vendors offer everything from food and beverages to souvenirs and artisan crafts.

What do I need to know about my wristband?

Your wristband serves as both a means of admission and making purchases.  Simply slide your wristband over your hand and tighten the clasp.  Don’t pull so tight that it’s uncomfortable – we recommend leaving space for two fingers between your wrist and the fabric.  Remember, it is non-transferable and once it’s securely on your wrist, you won’t be able to remove it until you cut it off after the event.

If I have topped up with a credit card, will I need anything to get my money back?

No, any unspent funds will be automatically deposited back to the card you used to top up. Please allow up to 10 business days for this to appear due to bank transfer times.

If I have topped up with cash, how do I get my money back?

To get a cash refund, you can either visit a refund station onsite, or at our offices at 180 Hamm Road, Chattanooga, TN  37405 for a $5 fee before 4pm on June 6, 2019.

What if I have a question about my wristband at the event?

How will i make purchases?

Your admission wristband doubles as your source to make purchases.  RFID (radio frequency identification device) technology allows you to attach your credit card for purchases or you can transfer cash or Riverbend tokens to the wristband at stations throughout the festival grounds.  Keep in mind, the admission wristband is non-transferable and should be worn for the duration of the festival.  Please note for purchases, this is the last year to redeem Riverbend tokens saved from previous years.

Festival tokens can be redeemed this festival, 2019 only. Token centers are  now called Top-Off Stations and are the locations where you can transfer tokens to your RFID wristband or add cash.
