The Station House was a restaurant that was located inside the Chattanooga Choo Choo and featured live music performed by singing waiters and waitresses known at the “World Famous Station House Gang”. The restaurant, which was originally the home of local performer James Rogers, adapted the singing waiter concept in 1978 and was in operation until it closed in December 2014. Many Station House performers, including some who will be performing for this show, have gone on to have successful careers in the music industry. This show will feature members of the original Station House band and singers from every era performing customers’ favorite tunes through the years.
